The property sleeps up to 8 people across 4 bedrooms and has two large reception rooms with the added bonus of 2 well-appointed family bathrooms. A cosy woodburner creates a toasty bolthole for storm watching in the winter months, while the generous dining terrace overlooking the beach is the perfect spot for evening BBQs, providing direct access onto the beach. Equipped with Smart TVs and a wireless Sonos sound system, this traditional cottage boasts all the mod-cons.
Gorran Haven is a picturesque fishing village on the south coast of Cornwall. Located in a sheltered cove with two sandy beaches, families will love the clean bathing and calm waters that offer the perfect spot for kayaking and paddle boarding.
Keen hikers will relish the South West Coast Path located on Beachcombers’ doorstep providing scenic walks to the fishing village of Mevagissey or the beautiful Vault Beach and Dodman Point. Venture a little further along the breathtaking Roseland Peninsula and discover empty beaches and quaint harbour villages.
Please note: Being a traditional Cornish cottage and due to its amazing beach location, the property is accessed by a 100 yard walk along a pathway from the road and has no parking facilities. The owner provides two parking permits to park guests’ cars in the village car park located by a 5 minute walk away.
The ground floor flows through curious corridors dividing the original part of the cottage and the recently renovated, separated by the bright sunroom. Bedroom One, a sumptuous King Size bedroom with private courtyard, shares a family bathroom with shower over, and separate walk-in rainfall shower with the twin Bedroom 4.
The warmth of the day keeps the sunroom toasty, a great spot for getting lost in a book with the view of the ocean. This is the perfect location for kicking off swimwear after a pleasant day at the beach & drying wetsuits and towels. This area is also equipped with a Bosch washing machine and tumble dryer.
A further King Size bedroom occupies the far end of the cottage, decorated in elegant pastels and nautical prints that complement the cottages’ coastal position. A further twin bedroom shares a second family bathroom with Bedroom Two, providing a cascading walk-in rainfall shower.
The first floor comprises two beautifully furnished and sociable living spaces, with sandy beach and green curling waves visible from each. An open plan dining room and sumptuous lounge with a temptingly plump corner sofa and armchairs surround the toasty wood fire and Smart TV.
A bright, modern kitchen sits below characterful vaulted ceilings and is well-equipped with Neff oven & ceramic hob, microwave and dishwasher. As well as a breakfast bar at which to perch and supervise the dinner preparations, a cosy snug offers further relaxation with a Smart TV, Blu Ray player and crackling wood fire. A wireless Sonos speaker sets the background music to accompany the wash of the waves.
Beachcombers boasts an unbeatable position on the sea front at Gorran Haven, located mere footsteps from the picture-perfect beach backed by quaint fishermen’s cottages. Relish the changing scenery of the ebb & flow of the tide as the sun goes down in the dedicated beachfront garden. Things to do in and around
Fans of coastal walks will relish the easy access to the South West Coast Path in this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Located on eastern point of the Roseland Peninsula, the scenery is unrivaled. The sheltered coves are a great base for kayaking and stand up paddle boarding, as well as simply bathing, and in the summer months fishing trips operate from the beach, offering a fun afternoon activity.
The incredible Lost Gardens of Heligan and the world renowned Eden Project are just a short drive away and a perfect day out for families. A selection of fantastic golf courses are available for anyone looking to brush up on their game. There are even two local vineyards close by of Polmassick and Bosue where you can visit and sample the produce!
A pretty sheltered crescent cove sits directly in front of the village of Gorran Haven, protected largely by the staggering 400ft Dodman Point. Neighbouring Little Perhaver becomes accessible at low tide, both of which are dog friendly.
For larger expanses of sand, keen walkers will enjoy the 30 minute ramble to Vault Beach towards the West, or jump in the car and find further seclusion on the Roseland Peninsula, dotted with golden beaches and picturesque harbour villages.

Every guest staying with us has access to our very popular complimentary concierge services so that we can help you with local information or book things for you. The items below are just some of things that we can organise for your stay but please call our concierge team for more help and ideas!
We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit your requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.
There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.
Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you would like to go to a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend a day doing activities that aren’t so child friendly.
We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that live locally to all of our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.
If you would like to do any cycling during your stay, we can organise bike hire for you. We can arrange to have a range of bikes and accessories delivered to the house, or if you want to just turn up somewhere and cycle, we can arrange for them to be dropped off and collected from any location in Cornwall.
If you would like to hire surf boards, stand-up paddle boards or kayaks during your stay, we can organise this for you. Surfing is the ultimate holiday sport and kayaking is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline or waterways near your holiday home.
We strongly recommend that you always obtain professional lessons before ever taking to the water, which we can also organise for you.
Whether its a private boat charter to enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the coastline, a day out at sea to catch some big fish for your tea, or a high speed ride on a rib searching for wildlife, we can arrange it for you!
Why not try a bread making class in the luxury of your Beach House. A chef tutor will visit the house with all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and teach you how to make delicious fresh bread or work with you on how to master a particular type of bread. Chef Prepared Dinners is a very flexible bespoke food service. The way that it works is that you discuss what food you would like with one of our partner chefs, they prepare it and then deliver it to you on the agreed day, together with cooking instructions!
All you have to do is turn on the cooker for items that need cooking, follow a few simple instructions and then hey presto, a gourmet banquet is on the table! As well as gourmet food, you can also order simple homemade dishes as well.
Our concierge team can recommend the best restaurants in the area to help you get the most out of your stay and we’ll even take care of all of the reservations for you too.

The Pop up Restaurant is a really novel catering experience and isn’t just limited to the grounds of the house that you are staying in, you can have a pop up personal restaurant anywhere! Think romantic meal for two on a beach or surprise dinner party in the woods – as long as a vehicle can get close to it, a restaurant can be provided!
You choose the location and menu and our chef will provide the rest. This is a great unique option for a one-off special occasion.
Our most popular concierge service is a private chef. You can enjoy a delicious gourmet experience in the comfort of your own Beach House, creating the perfect evening for a special occasion! We work with a small number of highly experienced chefs that provide food of the highest standard and in addition to preparing and serving, they also clean and wash up afterwards! To save space in the car, allow us to stock the wine fridge up for your arrival. We work with a small number of local wine merchants who will deliver to your Beach House or work with our local services company to get the deliveries to you.

If you decide to fly or get the train to your holiday home destination we can help to organise car hire for your stay to help you explore the local area. We can also book taxis for transfers to and from the airport/train station, as well as booking taxis to get you to and from your dinner reservations or anywhere else you like.

Delicious Wood Fired Pizzas take on average just 90 seconds to cook! Our partner chef will turn up to your Beach House (in rain or shine!) and set up the mobile wood fired pizza oven and gazebos. After around an hour, it’s ready to go and pizza all round.
This is a real fun and interactive food experience that can involve the whole family. You can prepare the dough, decorate it with you personal pizza topping and then cook it as well. The wood fired oven is very portable and can be placed in most locations.
