Occupying a penthouse floor with some of the best beach views in Cornwall, the very first thing you’ll want to do is pull back the bi-fold doors and bask in coastal scenery from the terrace – the beach literally is on your doorstep.
This luxury apartment boasts a spacious open plan design, contemporary furnishing and four beautiful bedrooms – two that benefit from those incredible views. Families will love being able to watch over the children on the beach from the terrace before enjoying an alfresco dinner at sunset.
Porth is a fairly quiet village, which is perfect if you’re looking for a relaxing beachside retreat. But, if you tire of sunbathing and sandcastle building, the local area is bursting with things to do and explore. Lusty Glaze Beach is a short walk away with a fantastic restaurant and adventure centre providing abseiling, zip wiring and jet skis. Neighbouring Watergate Bay and Newquay offer an abundance of water sport activities, boat trips and family attractions as well as countless fantastic restaurants.
Our knowledgeable concierge team are on hand to give you the lowdown on the local area and arrange any activities for you, so all you need to do is turn up and have a good time!

The Terrace
The terrace is what it’s all about; accessed via the living area and master bedroom, this is where you’ll probably spend most of your time watching the tide, sunbathing and enjoying a glass or two as the sun goes down.
Living Room/Kitchen/Dining Room
A bright, open space flooded with sunlight and blue horizon views, the living space is a comfortable and sociable area. A well-equipped kitchen overlooks the dining area and living room with its 50” flatscreen TV. Bi-fold doors open this entire room onto the large terrace to really integrate the outside within.
Master Bedroom
Drift away to the sound of the waves lapping the beach and wake up with restorative sea views from the plush super king bed. This room benefits its own access to the terrace for morning coffee, and a large en-suite shower room.
Bedroom Two
This room also enjoys sea views, with the added benefit of a zip & link bed, allowing this room to be made up as a super king or twin room.
Family Bathroom
As well as a luxurious rainfall shower, this sleek bathroom has an inviting bath tub for those who like a soothing soak after a day of trekking the South West Coast Path.

The Beach
Porth Beach is accessed via steps beside the building and across the garden. The beach is very popular with families, sheltered from winds by the headlands. With lifeguards on patrol throughout the busy school holidays, surfing is restricted on this beach.
There is a dog ban between Easter & September.

Things to do in and around
In the heart of Cornwall’s surf capital, Porth is sat between two of the UK’s best surfing beaches: Fistral Beach & Watergate Bay, both of which offer surf hire and lessons.
A short walk along the coast path will bring you to the beautiful Lusty Glaze Beach, where extreme sports enthusiasts will enjoy getting stuck in with cliff abseiling, tight rope walking and jet skiing. Or, watch all of the above from the safety and comfort of the Lusty Glaze Beach Restaurant, regularly hosting live music events and beach barbecues.
Porth Beach is a long, fine sand beach with fairly shallow bathing waters. Surfing isn’t permitted during the summer - it’s fairly sheltered and picks up very little swell - and for this reason it’s hugely popular with young families.
Within a walk, you come to Lusty Glaze or a short drive provides a variety of choices including Great Western, Tolcarne, Fistral, Crantock, Mawgan Porth and Watergate Bay. You’re bound to find your favourite spot to sunbathe, play games or surf.
Where to begin?! Being on the coast, you know you’re going to be spoilt for choice. Estrella Morada is a small, local tapas bar with a great reputation in Porth. Neighbouring Watergate Bay is of course home to Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen as well as the relaxed Beach Hut and Watergate Bay’s Living Space. More recently opened, but not to be overlooked is Watergate Bay’s Zacry’s.
Rick Stein recently opened a restaurant at Fistral Beach to add to his collection, serving classic fish and chips as well as authentic curries and Thai dishes inspired by Rick’s travels. Pizza and cider lovers must try the Stable at Fistral, and The Harbour Fish and Grill for fine dining and dazzling views over Newquay Harbour.
Help yourself relax that little bit more by indulging in some much-needed spa therapy, whether you’re just after a quick manicure or deserve a full body massage and rejuvinating facial. Every guest staying with us has access to our very popular complimentary concierge services so that we can help you with local information or book things for you. The items below are just some of things that we can organise for your stay but please call our concierge team for more help and ideas!
We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit your requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.
There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.
Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you would like to go to a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend a day doing activities that aren’t so child friendly.
We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that live locally to all of our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.
If you would like to do any cycling during your stay, we can organise bike hire for you. We can arrange to have a range of bikes and accessories delivered to the house, or if you want to just turn up somewhere and cycle, we can arrange for them to be dropped off and collected from any location in Cornwall.
If you would like to hire surf boards, stand-up paddle boards or kayaks during your stay, we can organise this for you. Surfing is the ultimate holiday sport and kayaking is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline or waterways near your holiday home.
We strongly recommend that you always obtain professional lessons before ever taking to the water, which we can also organise for you.
Whether its a private boat charter to enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the coastline, a day out at sea to catch some big fish for your tea, or a high speed ride on a rib searching for wildlife, we can arrange it for you!
Why not try a bread making class in the luxury of your Beach House. A chef tutor will visit the house with all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and teach you how to make delicious fresh bread or work with you on how to master a particular type of bread. The great thing about learning within one of our houses is that not only is there no travelling, its a much more personal experience. n.b. Prices start from £75 per person, minimum of two participants although one to one lessons can be agreed.
Chef Prepared Dinners is a very flexible bespoke food service. The way that it works is that you discuss what food you would like with one of our partner chefs, they prepare it and then deliver it to you on the agreed day, together with cooking instructions!
All you have to do is turn on the cooker for items that need cooking, follow a few simple instructions and then hey presto, a gourmet banquet is on the table! As well as gourmet food, you can also order simple homemade dishes as well.
Our concierge team can recommend the best restaurants in the area to help you get the most out of your stay and we’ll even take care of all of the reservations for you too.

To save valuable car space or the hassle of going shopping when you first arrive, we can arrange for groceries to be delivered and packed away at the house ready for your arrival*. There is normally a small local service charge for this service and is subject to availability so talk to us early if your stay falls within a busy period. This service normally works best when using a local grocery shop partner.

The Pop up Restaurant is a really novel catering experience and isn’t just limited to the grounds of the house that you are staying in, you can have a pop up personal restaurant anywhere! Think romantic meal for two on a beach or surprise dinner party in the woods – as long as a vehicle can get close to it, a restaurant can be provided!
You choose the location and menu and our chef will provide the rest. This is a great unique option for a one-off special occasion.
Our most popular concierge service is a private chef. You can enjoy a delicious gourmet experience in the comfort of your own Beach House, creating the perfect evening for a special occasion! We work with a small number of highly experienced chefs that provide food of the highest standard and in addition to preparing and serving, they also clean and wash up afterwards! We can organise chefs for a one off special occasion, a few nights during your stay or even three meals a day for the full duration of your stay.
When in Cornwall, it’s difficult to resist the temptation to get into the water and try surfing so we can recommend the best local surf schools and private surf coach’s to help ensure plenty of fun and progress during your stay.

If you’re already a keen cook of Indian or Thai foods, then why not work with our chef to master that particular dish you just can’t quite get the hang of.

To save space in the car, allow us to stock the wine fridge up for your arrival. We work with a small number of local wine merchants who will deliver to your Beach House or work with our local services company to get the deliveries to you.
As well as being a space and time saving service, it can also give you greater access to locally made wines and spirits which you may not have come across before.
If you decide to fly or get the train to your holiday home destination we can help to organise car hire for your stay to help you explore the local area. We can also book taxis for transfers to and from the airport/train station, as well as booking taxis to get you to and from your dinner reservations or anywhere else you like.
Our concierge team are on hand from the point of booking right up to the end of your stay so please do contact us if you would like any help at all.
Our concierge team can advise on where you can find all the best local watersport activities available such as stand up paddleboarding, jet skis, kayaking, coasteering, waterskiing, wakeboarding, ringos, sailing, powerboat courses and much more.
We can book lessons for you and liaise with individual watersport companies to help ensure the service is tailored to your ability and experience.
Delicious Wood Fired Pizzas take on average just 90 seconds to cook! Our partner chef will turn up to your Beach House (in rain or shine!) and set up the mobile wood fired pizza oven and gazebos. After around an hour, it’s ready to go and pizza all round.
This is a real fun and interactive food experience that can involve the whole family. You can prepare the dough, decorate it with you personal pizza topping and then cook it as well. The wood fired oven is very portable and can be placed in most locations.

The Campbells, NewportLovely accommodation and beautiful views. We didn’t quite manage breakfast on the balcony, but the views were beautiful to wake up to. If you have kids that like trains, Lappa Valley is definitely worth a visit if the weather is good. Generous and thoughtful welcome pack, just wish we could have had nice weather to enjoy the balcony!
The Macraeas, SingaporePerfect location, stunning views and a great base to visit Cornwall. Our kids loved playing and crabbing on the beach. Our favourtie places that we visited were Falmouth, St Mawes, Fowey, St Ives, Watergate Bay, Padstow and Port Isaac (Doc Martin!) The best places we ate at were Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen for breakfast and lunch at Watergate Bay, Phoenix, and The Mermaid Inn at Porth! Rick Steins or any restaurant in or near Falmouth and Sam’s in Fowey. All child friendly.

The Chapman Family, High WycombeThe Penthouse was everything we hoped for and more! Positioned with direct access to the beach was fantastic and the sunsets an amazing bonus. Lovely walks on the cliffs and a relatively easy walk into Newquay. The apartment is very well fitted out with everything we needed, such as dishwasher, washing machine etc… and even a super coffee maker (Nespresso), 2 fridges and a separate drink cooler. The TV was fabulous! Beds, seating and such like were all very comfortable. Even providing beach towels was way more than we expected.
The surf-shed proved immensely useful to save taking sandy beach toys and such like up to the apartment. The special arrangements you made with the nearby Holiday Park to park our 3rd car worked very well and perhaps you would also thank the management of the park for their assistance in this matter.
The Stott Family, LondonCoast Penthouse was ideal for us and we really enjoyed our time there. We stayed with friends and between us we have three children under two and it was great to have so much space on one level - We would certainly stay there again!
