Hawkers Cove offers vibrant, contemporary beach side living right in the heart of Polzeath at the luxury Pinewood development. The fun, colourful approach to the interior design and artwork throughout this property will allow you to continuously discover new funky features that have been so well thought out with practicality in mind as well as style. Set over four floors, Hawkers Cove can comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests across five bedrooms making it the perfect family holiday home. Two bedrooms feature spacious en-suites, whilst the other three bedrooms share a fresh modern family shower room. The entire second floor is a superb open plan kitchen, dining and living space providing the most extensive sea and beach views in the house.
Two sets of bi-fold doors spread the width of this fantastic open plan room, flooding the room with light and providing views across Polzeath and down onto the beach. The combination of stylish grey sofas, a marble topped coffee table, bright Moroccan floor cushions, Pop Art pieces, Charles Eames dining chairs and a cosy wood burner, make this a really fun space to relax in. A functional modern kitchen, immaculate tiled bathrooms and endless character and individuality throughout the bedrooms and living space, all within a five minutes walk of Polzeath beach, its shop and cafes. A large communal grassy garden is the icing on the cake, providing a huge outside space to extend out into. The communal garden sits above Polzeath offering stunning views and a private pathway down to the beach.

Two designated parking spaces just outside the ground floor entrance to Hawkers Cove allow you to park up and unload all of your surf boards and beach equipment straight into the large under-stairs surf store. Hanging space for coats and a handy pulley clothes airer in the utility provides a practical space for coming in from the beach and drying coats and wetsuits, after washing off in the external hot shower. The utility room also includes a Miele washing machine, Miele tumble dryer, sink, additional fridge and plenty of counter space as well as several kitchen units for storing additional items.
Bedroom Three
An inviting king size bed with a plush navy cushioned bed frame adorned with crisp white linen and vibrant Moroccan cushions, takes centre stage in this perfectly proportioned room. Philippe Starck perspex side tables and lamps, built in white wooden wardrobes, a chic grey chest of drawers and a fabulous white feather ceiling shade finish this room perfectly. This room is also equipped with a wall mounted 32″ Samsung TV and John Lewis digital radio with iPod docking station.
The large en-suite bathroom features a wall hung hand basin with vanity drawer unit below and a thermostatic shower over bath.
Bedroom Four
Bedroom four features a huge zip and link bed with denim headboards, complete with jean pockets. The bed can be split into two single beds or joined to create a super king. Two colourful Fat Boy Beanbags, a 40″ wall hung Samsung Smart TV, Playstation 3 and a Revo iBLIK RadioStation with iPod dock, creates the perfect setting for a gaming marathon. White wooden built in wardrobes, bedside tables and a chest of drawers provide all the storage you should need and there are even beach views over Polzeath.
Bedroom Five
Staying by the sea will be made all the more special for children sleeping in this wonderful ‘under the sea’ bedroom. The pod bunk bed feels like a submarine next to the fish filled water effect wall paper, and the skateboard shelves, large Moroccan floor cushions and endless quirky colourful features, make this is a really fun space completely designed with children in mind.
Family Bathroom
Crisp, clean lines made up of floor to ceiling white tiles complete the look for the family bathroom, with a wall hung hand basin and walk in thermostatic shower.
Kitchen, Dining & Living Area
The entire second floor is comprised of a fantastic open plan kitchen, dining and living area, providing the best sea and beach views in the house. Double bi-fold doors stretch the width of the room, filling it with light and opening onto a balcony that overlooks Polzeath and the beach. Large, stylish grey sofas surround a marble topped coffee table and face into the inviting glow of the inset wood burning fire. A wall mounted 46″ Samsung Smart TV, PlayStation 4 and SONOS music system ensures you will have access to all the latest technology during your stay. Lots of unique and quirky interior design touches and art work make this a really fun space to relax in.
The dining table is strategically placed to sit centrally within the window bay, making the back drop to your daily meals a beautiful far reaching sea view. The white gloss table can extend to seat 10 guests on stylish Charles Eames dining chairs.
The kitchen has been completed to a very high standard with Rangemaster Toledo induction hob with double oven, integrated Neff fridge and freezer, Dualit kettle, Dualit toaster, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. The open plan layout creates a real social space for everyone to come together, every aspect of which has been so practically thought out to make the most of the house and ensure a wonderfully unique stay on the coast.
Please note: guests with pacemakers should avoid using the Induction Hob as this can interfere with the device.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom features a false wall that sets forward the gorgeous navy cushioned super king size bed. Built in wardrobes behind creates a spacious dressing area with a full length mirror. A stylish occasional chair sits discretely in the corner of the room providing the perfect spot to sit and enjoy the sea views or read a book. An exquisite mother of pearl dressing table and chest of drawers, combines with iconic, vibrant art pieces and soft furnishings to provide an engaging yet calming space to relax in. There is also a Samsung Smart TV in the bedroom and a Blu Ray DVD player.
The large en-suite bathroom to the rear of the room includes a deep bath rub to sink into and a large walk-in shower.
Bedroom Two
Bedroom two comprises two single beds neutrally decorated with bright bursts of colour through quirky furnishing pieces such as the yellow Kartell bedside lamp and the comic book drawer knobs. The square window at the end of the room perfectly frames the iconic Polzeath view of Newlands Island surrounded by sea.

There are two parking spaces provided at Hawkers Cove but additional car parking is available locally if required.
Communal Garden
The well maintained large grassy area backed by trees and wild flowers, provides the perfect picnic spot overlooking Polzeath. With amazing sea and beach views and picnic benches provided, it is a great place for children to play and adults to relax in the sun. A private pathway leads down to the beach road, putting the beach and all of the shops and cafes in Polzeath in safe, close walking distance.

Things to do in and around
Sea Kayaking
With the beach, ocean and miles of countryside on your doorstep, there’s no shortage of activities to occupy you during your holiday. Learn to surf or SUP, or simply hire the equipment out. Coasteering and Kayak tours provide a unique glimpse of the coastline and the opportunity to explore hidden coves, secret beaches and iconic harbours.
For the adrenalin junkies, wakeboarding, speedboat charters and water and kite skiing on the Camel Estuary will be your playground. For the land lovers, there’s no end of exceptional cycling and walking opportunities. Whether taking in the South West Coast Path, ambling the Camel Trail or mountain biking one of Cornwall’s nearby forest trails. Whatever you want to do, our concierge will find and organise it for you.
Polzeath Beach
Polzeath Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Cornwall, if not the UK. Great for families and learning to surf, it’s lifeguarded throughout the peak seasons. There is a dog ban during the peak season, but follow the South West Coast Path round to neighbouring dog friendly Daymer Bay, an enormous expanse of sand lapped by the Camel Estuary.
If you’re feeling particularly energetic you can follow the coast path round to Rock where there are plenty of pubs serving great local food.
Fish & Chips from The Point
Holidays are all about the food and drink, and there’s no better place than the north coast of Cornwall to indulge in the freshest produce. Polzeath has lots of great pubs, restaurants and cafes, all within a short walk. Surfside and Decksteppers are great for coming off the beach for lunch or a relaxed dinner in the evening. The Oystercatcher is a popular pub with plenty of outside seating and serving local ales.
Rock is just a 5 minute drive away and is known for its selection of great pubs and restaurants overlooking the Camel Estuary. From here you can hop on the water taxi and visit Padstow for the ultimate in fresh Cornish produce. For a really special night, Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 in Padstow is a must.
Relaxing and unwinding is a crucial part of a holiday. Recuperate and indulge as much as possible. When the sun’s shining, hit the beach and soak up the vitamin D.

Every guest staying with us has access to our very popular complimentary concierge services so that we can help you with local information or book things for you. The items below are just some of things that we can organise for your stay but please call our concierge team for more help and ideas!
We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit your requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.
There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.
Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you would like to go to a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend a day doing activities that aren’t so child friendly.
We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that live locally to all of our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.
If you would like to do any cycling during your stay, we can organise bike hire for you. We can arrange to have a range of bikes and accessories delivered to the house, or if you want to just turn up somewhere and cycle, we can arrange for them to be dropped off and collected from any location in Cornwall.
If you would like to hire surf boards, stand-up paddle boards or kayaks during your stay, we can organise this for you. Surfing is the ultimate holiday sport and kayaking is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline or waterways near your holiday home.
We strongly recommend that you always obtain professional lessons before ever taking to the water, which we can also organise for you.
Whether its a private boat charter to enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the coastline, a day out at sea to catch some big fish for your tea, or a high speed ride on a rib searching for wildlife, we can arrange it for you!
Why not try a bread making class in the luxury of your Beach House. A chef tutor will visit the house with all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and teach you how to make delicious fresh bread or work with you on how to master a particular type of bread. The great thing about learning within one of our houses is that not only is there no travelling, its a much more personal experience. n.b. Chef Prepared Dinners is a very flexible bespoke food service. The way that it works is that you discuss what food you would like with one of our partner chefs, they prepare it and then deliver it to you on the agreed day, together with cooking instructions!
All you have to do is turn on the cooker for items that need cooking, follow a few simple instructions and then hey presto, a gourmet banquet is on the table! As well as gourmet food, you can also order simple homemade dishes as well.
Our concierge team can recommend the best restaurants in the area to help you get the most out of your stay and we’ll even take care of all of the reservations for you too.
Let us know where you would like to go and we can take all of the hassle out of organising your group and make those all important bookings on your behalf. We have great connections with all of the local restaurants so where possible we will make sure you get the best table and that all your needs are catered for.
If you are bringing the family dog away on holiday with you to one of our dog friendly properties and you want go somewhere for the day/evening that does not permit dogs, we can organise a dog sitter to look after your dog and keep it company while you are out!

A fantastic range of gourmet foods and ready meals created by celebrity chef James Martin can be delivered to your holiday home. The food is excellent and only high quality ingredients are used. There is a great varied selection so there is something for every palate!
These meals are ideal for holidays as they are delivered frozen so you can just cook them when you need them without all the hours of shopping and preparation. This convenient approach means that you spend more time being ‘on holiday’ rather than slaving away over a hot stove in the kitchen!

The Pop up Restaurant is a really novel catering experience and isn’t just limited to the grounds of the house that you are staying in, you can have a pop up personal restaurant anywhere! Think romantic meal for two on a beach or surprise dinner party in the woods – as long as a vehicle can get close to it, a restaurant can be provided!
You choose the location and menu and our chef will provide the rest. This is a great unique option for a one-off special occasion.
Our most popular concierge service is a private chef. You can enjoy a delicious gourmet experience in the comfort of your own Beach House, creating the perfect evening for a special occasion! We work with a small number of highly experienced chefs that provide food of the highest standard and in addition to preparing and serving, they also clean and wash up afterwards! We can organise chefs for a one off special occasion, a few nights during your stay or even three meals a day for the full duration of your stay.

To save space in the car, allow us to stock the wine fridge up for your arrival. We work with a small number of local wine merchants who will deliver to your Beach House or work with our local services company to get the deliveries to you.
As well as being a space and time saving service, it can also give you greater access to locally made wines and spirits which you may not have come across before.
If you decide to fly or get the train to your holiday home destination we can help to organise car hire for your stay to help you explore the local area. We can also book taxis for transfers to and from the airport/train station, as well as booking taxis to get you to and from your dinner reservations or anywhere else you like.

Our concierge team can advise on where you can find all the best local watersport activities available such as stand up paddleboarding, jet skis, kayaking, coasteering, waterskiing, wakeboarding, ringos, sailing, powerboat courses and much more.

Delicious Wood Fired Pizzas take on average just 90 seconds to cook! Our partner chef will turn up to your Beach House (in rain or shine!) and set up the mobile wood fired pizza oven and gazebos. After around an hour, it’s ready to go and pizza all round.
This is a real fun and interactive food experience that can involve the whole family. You can prepare the dough, decorate it with you personal pizza topping and then cook it as well. The wood fired oven is very portable and can be placed in most locations.
