Seascape is a fantastic four bedroom property that has just been lovingly renovated to a high standard. Sitting in a superb location overlooking Mawgan Porth, Seascape commands stunning sea and beach views and is just a five minute walk from the golden sands and great surf. The ground floor at Seascape features a large open plan well equipped kitchen and dining room with SONOS wireless music speaker, a spacious utility, a large lounge with wall-mounted flat screen TV with SKY TV and a PlayStation 4. A spacious conservatory opens out onto the garden which provides the perfect viewing spot for taking in the wonderful ever changing sea views, whatever the weather.

The first floor comprises four spacious bedrooms accommodating up to six guests. You can enjoy glorious sea views from the sumptuous superking bed in the Master Bedroom with en-suite, or from the flexible zip and link beds in Bedroom Two which can be made up as either twin beds or a superking. Bedroom Two along with a further two single bedrooms, share the fresh contemporary family bathroom. A good sized private garden with outdoor dining furniture allows you to enjoy lovely meals outside overlooking the beach.

Seascape can be rented with its sister property, Sea Thrift (known locally as Green Hedges) next door, to accommodate up to 12 guests in 8 bedrooms, creating a fantastic space for large groups.

We had a lovely holiday in Seascape, despite the unpredictable English weather!

The house was very well fitted and to a high standard, I loved the furnishings in the bedrooms and living areas.

The kitchen was equipped with every possibly utensil and it was particularly good to have so many mugs and glasses.

The dishwasher and washing machines were easy to use and very useful and the parking facilities were good.

The welcome pack was really delicious and the view over Mawgan Porth from the garden was beautiful.

Ground Floor

A large open plan kitchen and dining room is the heart of the home, providing a really social space for everyone to come together to cook and dine. A wireless SONOS music speaker allows you to play your own music through your iPad or iPhone, setting the mood for wonderful dinner sat together around the large dining table. The lounge features a stylish sofas that you can sink into whilst watching films on the large wall-mounted flat screen TV, fully equipped with Sky TV and a PlayStation 4 that doubles up as a Blu Ray player. Double doors from both the lounge and the dining room open into the conservatory creating a wonderfully open flow of space. Stylish rattan lounge furniture means that you can sit comfortably in the conservatory overlooking the garden and enjoying the stunning views of the waves rolling onto the beach. There is also a utility room with storage cupboards, washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as a downstairs cloak room.

First Floor

A large window sets the scene for the master bedroom with stunning sea views being the central feature of this room. A sumptuous super king bed is guaranteed to make you want to stay in bed in the morning and take in that wonderful view with a cup of tea and a good book. The master en-suite bathroom comprises a large shower, hand basin and WC. Bedroom Two enjoys the same fantastic views as the master bedroom but also has the added flexibility of zip and link beds which can be made up as either twins or a super king bed. Bedrooms three and four are both cosy single bedrooms, perfect for children or single adults. A contemporary bathroom with large walk-in shower services these bedrooms.

Exterior

The good sized garden is fenced to the sides to provide privacy from neighbours but a low traditional Cornish wall to the bottom of the garden ensures you can still enjoy the sea and beach views. A patio area with outdoor dining furniture allows you to relax outside with an evening meal, a bottle of wine and Mawgan Porth’s beautiful sunset. There is ample car parking for two cars.

    Activities

    Mawgan Porth is a great beach for learning to surf, with lessons and hire available from King Surf school. For the adrenaline junkies, Extreme Academy at Watergate Bay offer the likes of kite surfing, traction kiting and wave skiing among other things. Lusty Glaze Adventure Center also offers abseiling, zip wiring and jet skiing.

    Alternatively, why not enjoy a gentle ride along the Camel Estuary, stopping in Wadebridge for a bite to eat? Or, pay a visit to the award-winning Camel Vinyard for an afternoon tour and wine tasting? Speak to our concierge team for more information and advice.

    Mawgan Porth is a gorgeous west-facing expanse of golden sand, perfect for watersports and surfers of all abilities. The beach is life guarded throughout the peak season and has a number boutique shops, cafes and restaurants all within walking distance. The South West Coast Path takes you on a picturesque walk along to the enormous Watergate Bay to the West or the iconic Bedruthan Steps to the East.

    Just outside of Newquay, Mawgan Porth is within easy reach of countless beautiful north coast beaches, including the famous Watergate Bay and Fistral, Lusty Glaze and Porth - to name just a few!

    Housekeeping

    We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit your requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.

    There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.

    Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you would like to go to a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend a day doing activities that aren’t so child friendly.

    We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that live locally to all of our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.

    If you would like to do any cycling during your stay, we can organise bike hire for you. We can arrange to have a range of bikes and accessories delivered to the house, or if you want to just turn up somewhere and cycle, we can arrange for them to be dropped off and collected from any location in Cornwall.

    If you would like to hire surf boards, stand-up paddle boards or kayaks during your stay, we can organise this for you. Surfing is the ultimate holiday sport and kayaking is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline or waterways near your holiday home.

    Chef Prepared Dinners is a very flexible bespoke food service. The way that it works is that you discuss what food you would like with one of our partner chefs, they prepare it and then deliver it to you on the agreed day, together with cooking instructions!

    All you have to do is turn on the cooker for items that need cooking, follow a few simple instructions and then hey presto, a gourmet banquet is on the table! As well as gourmet food, you can also order simple homemade dishes as well.

    To save valuable car space or the hassle of going shopping when you first arrive, we can arrange for groceries to be delivered and packed away at the house ready for your arrival*. There is normally a small local service charge for this service and is subject to availability so talk to us early if your stay falls within a busy period.     The Pop up Restaurant is a really novel catering experience and isn’t just limited to the grounds of the house that you are staying in, you can have a pop up personal restaurant anywhere! Think romantic meal for two on a beach or surprise dinner party in the woods – as long as a vehicle can get close to it, a restaurant can be provided!

    You choose the location and menu and our chef will provide the rest. This is a great unique option for a one-off special occasion.

    Our most popular concierge service is a private chef. You can enjoy a delicious gourmet experience in the comfort of your own Beach House, creating the perfect evening for a special occasion! We work with a small number of highly experienced chefs that provide food of the highest standard and in addition to preparing and serving, they also clean and wash up afterwards! We can organise chefs for a one off special occasion, a few nights during your stay or even three meals a day for the full duration of your stay.

    If you decide to fly or get the train to your holiday home destination we can help to organise car hire for your stay to help you explore the local area. We can also book taxis for transfers to and from the airport/train station, as well as booking taxis to get you to and from your dinner reservations or anywhere else you like.

    Our concierge team are on hand from the point of booking right up to the end of your stay so please do contact us if you would like any help at all.

    Wood Fired Pizzas

    Delicious Wood Fired Pizzas take on average just 90 seconds to cook! Our partner chef will turn up to your Beach House (in rain or shine!) and set up the mobile wood fired pizza oven and gazebos. After around an hour, it’s ready to go and pizza all round.

    This is a real fun and interactive food experience that can involve the whole family. You can prepare the dough, decorate it with you personal pizza topping and then cook it as well. The wood fired oven is very portable and can be placed in most locations.

The house provided everything we could have needed, all with a few minutes walk from the beautiful beach at Mawgan Porth.

The Dodgshon Family, Buckinghamshire

Seascape had everything we needed for a perfect and luxurious seaside escape! The kitchen and utility room had all the utensils, equipment and storage you could need, plus plenty of crockery so you are not chained to the sink or dishwasher. The living room spoilt us with a large flat screen TV, Sky TV, Apple TV and a Sonos speaker. The rainfall shower heads in the large showers in the bathrooms were bliss. In addition there is plenty of comfortable seating everywhere and lots of storage in the bedrooms. Our dog loved the conservatory and the close proximity to the beach too. We loved it so much we have booked to go again!!

This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. The view across the bay is fantastic. The house itself was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented, equipped with everything you could possibly need. The downstairs is mostly open plan and generously proportioned, upstairs the double bedrooms are a good size, though the two single rooms are quite small and look onto the drive. All the beds were really comfortable, there were plenty of extra pillows, blankets etc. As the weather was showery most days we spent quite a bit of time in the sun room, relaxing and enjoying the amazing view, even in the rain. The garden is pretty and private, though the low wall on one side meant it wasn’t entirely secure for our dog.
There’s a very steep footpath from the house to the beach, the beach itself great; flat and sandy. The house book has lots of ideas for places to eat, but we can particularly recommend Catch just off the beach in Mawgan Porth. It doesn’t appear in the house details as its only just opened. A lovely menu, friendly staff and fantastic food. They were even happy with the dog joining us. The farm shop, Bre Pen farm, just outside the village is very good. They supplied the very generous welcome basket; it was all so nice we went back for more. They also provide the Thai takeaway, which we had one night. Really good and delivered piping hot.
We would absolutely recommend Seascape and will definitely be going back there!
