Vinnick Rock is a beautiful, contemporary new build in the heart of Polzeath. Part of the exclusive Pinewood development, this three story house enjoys uninterrupted views over Polzeath Beach; take it all in with a glass of wine from the first floor balcony.

Everything is within walking distance, with a private path leading down to the beach, just a short walk to all of Polzeath’s restaurants, cafes and shops.

The house is bright, spacious and modern sleeping 8 with ease. An additional two children (under 12) can also be accommodated in the bunk room – sleeping a total of 10 across 5 bedrooms, 2 with en-suites.

In the summer, this is the ultimate beachside property for families and groups of friends. In winter, Vinnick Rock becomes a snug coastal retreat, perfect for watching the storms roll in and curling up by the wood burner.

We were delighted to find this house available for our week in Polzeath and we were not disappointed! The accommodation was excellent with plenty of space for everyone to enjoy without feeling crammed in. The highlight must be the full opening window wall out onto the balcony with views of the beach and sea – Spectacular! Every morning we would have a cup of tea or coffee on the sunny balcony and inspect the state of the tide and quality of the surf to help us decide when to venture to the beach. The path down to the beach was steep but manageable (even my 74 year old mother in law managed the slow climb back up!) and meant that we could go to and from the beach as we pleased.

The ground floor can be accessed via the lower ground car park and is really handy for coming off the beach and straight to the utility and shower room.

Bedroom Four is a bright and spacious bedroom with sea views and a zip & link bed, offering a versatile option for this room to be a super king or twin room.

A king size room with built-in wardrobes and bathed in plenty of sunshine.

This wet room-style, walk-in shower room is perfect for coming off the beach and rinsing off sandy feet.

Complete with a Bosch washing machine and tumble dryer, as well as an additional refrigerator and storage.

First Floor

Living/Dining/Kitchen

A fantastic open plan floor, accessible from the street, enjoys brilliant sea views over Polzeath Beach. Bi-fold doors fold back to open up the living room onto the balcony for summer evening drinks while watching the tide roll in.

The well-equipped kitchen overlooks this great social space and dining table; complete with a Toledo double over, 5 ring induction hob, dishwasher, Gorenje fridge-freezer and Panasonic microwave.

Please note: guests with pacemakers should avoid using the Induction Hob as this can interfere with the device.

 

Second Floor

Bedroom One

The top floor of this seaside holiday home cleverly accommodates three bedrooms. The Master Bedroom enjoys elevated views of the beach from the Juliette balcony – views that can be soaked up from the super king bed. Complete with a large en-suite bathroom.

Children will love this bunk room with a light-flooding skylight window. This room can accommodate two children under the age of 12 only.

Vinnick Rock enjoys a large shared grassy garden with beautiful views across Polzeath Beach. This is a maintained area, planted with wild-flowers and trees and offering a perfect picnic spot in the sun.

Polzeath Beach is one of the most popular beaches on the north coast, with many families holiday here year after since they were children. It’s clear to see why when you arrive and see the large golden sands and crystal blue sea. The surf is generally good and doesn’t usually get too big, making it a great beach for learning.

    Activities

    With the beach, ocean and miles of countryside on your doorstep, there’s no shortage of activities to occupy you during your holiday. Learn to surf or SUP, or simply hire the equipment out. Coasteering and Kayak tours provide a unique glimpse of the coastline and the opportunity to explore hidden coves, secret beaches and iconic harbours.

    For the adrenalin junkies, wakeboarding, speedboat charters and water and kite skiing on the Camel Estuary will be your playground. For the land lovers, there’s no end of exceptional cycling and walking opportunities. Whether taking in the South West Coast Path, ambling the Camel Trail or mountain biking one of Cornwall’s nearby forest trails. Whatever you want to do, our concierge will find and organise it for you.

  • Polzeath Beach

    Beaches

    Polzeath Beach is one of the most popular beaches in Cornwall, if not the UK. Great for families and learning to surf, it’s lifeguarded throughout the peak seasons. There is a dog ban during the peak season, but follow the South West Coast Path round to neighbouring dog friendly Daymer Bay, an enormous expanse of sand lapped by the Camel Estuary.

    If you’re feeling particularly energetic you can follow the coast path round to Rock where there are plenty of pubs serving great local food.

  • Fish & Chips from The Point

    Food

    Holidays are all about the food and drink, and there’s no better place than the north coast of Cornwall to indulge in the freshest produce. Polzeath has lots of great pubs, restaurants and cafes, all within a short walk. Surfside and Decksteppers are great for coming off the beach for lunch or a relaxed dinner in the evening. The Oystercatcher is a popular pub with plenty of outside seating and serving local ales.

    Rock is just a 5 minute drive away and is known for its selection of great pubs and restaurants overlooking the Camel Estuary. From here you can hop on the water taxi and visit Padstow for the ultimate in fresh Cornish produce. For a really special night, Paul Ainsworth at Number 6 in Padstow is a must.

  • Relax

    Relaxing and unwinding is a crucial part of a holiday. Recuperate and indulge as much as possible. When the sun’s shining, hit the beach and soak up the vitamin D.

    We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit your requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.

    There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.

    Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you would like to go to a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend a day doing activities that aren’t so child friendly.

    We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that live locally to all of our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.

    If you would like to do any cycling during your stay, we can organise bike hire for you. We can arrange to have a range of bikes and accessories delivered to the house, or if you want to just turn up somewhere and cycle, we can arrange for them to be dropped off and collected from any location in Cornwall.

    If you would like to hire surf boards, stand-up paddle boards or kayaks during your stay, we can organise this for you. Surfing is the ultimate holiday sport and kayaking is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline or waterways near your holiday home.

    We strongly recommend that you always obtain professional lessons before ever taking to the water, which we can also organise for you.

    Chef Prepared Dinners is a very flexible bespoke food service. The way that it works is that you discuss what food you would like with one of our partner chefs, they prepare it and then deliver it to you on the agreed day, together with cooking instructions!

    All you have to do is turn on the cooker for items that need cooking, follow a few simple instructions and then hey presto, a gourmet banquet is on the table! As well as gourmet food, you can also order simple homemade dishes as well.

There is normally a small local service charge for this service and is subject to availability so talk to us early if your stay falls within a busy period.     The Pop up Restaurant is a really novel catering experience and isn’t just limited to the grounds of the house that you are staying in, you can have a pop up personal restaurant anywhere! Think romantic meal for two on a beach or surprise dinner party in the woods – as long as a vehicle can get close to it, a restaurant can be provided!

    You choose the location and menu and our chef will provide the rest. This is a great unique option for a one-off special occasion.

    Our most popular concierge service is a private chef. You can enjoy a delicious gourmet experience in the comfort of your own Beach House, creating the perfect evening for a special occasion! We work with a small number of highly experienced chefs that provide food of the highest standard and in addition to preparing and serving, they also clean and wash up afterwards! We can organise chefs for a one off special occasion, a few nights during your stay or even three meals a day for the full duration of your stay.

    If you decide to fly or get the train to your holiday home destination we can help to organise car hire for your stay to help you explore the local area. We can also book taxis for transfers to and from the airport/train station, as well as booking taxis to get you to and from your dinner reservations or anywhere else you like.

    Our concierge team are on hand from the point of booking right up to the end of your stay so please do contact us if you would like any help at all.

    Our concierge team can advise on where you can find all the best local watersport activities available such as stand up paddleboarding, jet skis, kayaking, coasteering, waterskiing, wakeboarding, ringos, sailing, powerboat courses and much more.

    We can book lessons for you and liaise with individual watersport companies to help ensure the service is tailored to your ability and experience.

    Wood Fired Pizzas

    Delicious Wood Fired Pizzas take on average just 90 seconds to cook! Our partner chef will turn up to your Beach House (in rain or shine!) and set up the mobile wood fired pizza oven and gazebos. After around an hour, it’s ready to go and pizza all round.

    This is a real fun and interactive food experience that can involve the whole family. You can prepare the dough, decorate it with you personal pizza topping and then cook it as well. The wood fired oven is very portable and can be placed in most locations.
