Kitchen and Dining Area
The effortlessly stylish kitchen and dining area is the real social hub of the property. The central island includes a breakfast bar and two stools, perfect for socialising over a drink from the wine fridge. There’s a modern electric oven, grill and five ring electric hob for budding chefs looking to show off their skills. For the less culinary-inclined, the microwave and dishwasher means you can spend more time relaxing with family and friends. You’ll also find a Smart TV and Bose Soundlink Revolve Bluetooth Speaker in the dining area, so the whole group can come together and enjoy entertaining evenings around the large dining table. You can also push back the bi-fold doors and savour sunny days and warm evenings on the terrace.
Bedroom One
Bedroom one is a charming light and airy room, with plenty of stylish storage. The handy zip and link beds can be made up as twins or a super king, so the room is perfect for couples, family or friends. With fun nautical lamps and coastal-inspired soft furnishings, you’ll never feel far from the beach.
Bedroom Two
An additional pair of zip and link beds in the second bedroom add further flexibility to your stay. With large sliding doors that open onto the garden, you can start each day luxuriating in bed with a coffee whilst breathing in the crisp Cornish air.
Family Bathroom
The sleek and stylish family bathroom includes a large bathtub and shower. Relaxing and practical, you can unwind in a long, indulgent bath, or jump in the shower at the end of a fun-filled day.
Wet Room and Utility Room
With a convenient separate entrance, the utility room is the ideal place for drying off wetsuits and towels after you return from the beach. There’s extra storage for your beach gear, as well as a Zanussi washing machine and tumble drier. The utility room leads onto a handy wet room, which is perfectly located for cleaning sand off your mini adventurers.
Living Area
The comfy living area offers a cosy sanctuary for rainy days. There’s room for the whole group to snuggle up by the roaring wood burner and enjoy duvet days and movie nights on the Smart TV. On sunny days, the large gable window floods the room with light and you can watch the sunshine sparkling on the glimpse of sea in the distance. Just off the living area is a sleek glass-balustrade walkway, designed to lead onto the master bedroom in style.
Master Bedroom
The spacious master bedroom provides a little peace and serenity after action-packed days out. With an enormous super king bed made up with sumptuously luxurious linens, and a lovely view of the garden from the large window, it will be hard to drag yourself away from this haven in the mornings. Decorated in soft, calming greys, the chic en-suite includes a generous walk-in rainfall shower.
The enclosed garden at the back of the property is perfect for letting your energetic children or dogs run about and play. The large sliding kitchen doors lead onto an easily-accessible terrace, so you can enjoy your morning coffee or evening drinks out in the balmy sea air. If you’re lucky with the weather, the outdoor charcoal BBQ means you won’t have to miss a minute of sunshine.
Just outside the utility room is a handy outdoor shower, perfect for rinsing off after long days at the beach.
Only a minute from the sea and situated in the heart of Harlyn, the Hideaways properties are perfectly located for exploring the surrounding area by foot. For larger groups renting more than one of the neighbouring properties, you’ll be able to amble between the houses within seconds. There is also enough room to park two cars at Wolf Rock.

Things to do in and around
Take to the water with Harlyn Surf School and explore the coastline. Try your hand at kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, coasteering and surfing.
Only a 5 minute drive away, you’ll find Trevose champion golf course, offering a range of courses for all standards. Trevose Golf Club also provides a range of fantastic on-site facilities, including a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, tennis and spa treatments.
Pick up the coast path from Harlyn Bay beach and head north east towards Trevone and Padstow, or head south west around Trevose Head towards Constanine Bay, Treyarnon and Porthcothan. If you are a keen walker you can continue on to Bedruthan Steps and Mawgan Porth.
For the kids why not head over to Crealy Adventure Park or for something a little more high octane there’s zip-wiring, go-karting, jet skiing and much more all within distance.
Harlyn Bay
Harlyn Bay is a fantastic beach and is extremely popular for surfing. The beach is life guarded in the summer months and has an abundance of yellow sand, sand dunes and rock pools making it a popular choice for families.
Follow the coast to the East to the lovely Trevone beach, or to the West for Booby’s Bay, Constatine Bay, Treyarnon Bay, Porthcothan Bay, Mawgan Porth, Watergate Bay, Porth Beach, Lusty Glaze and Fistral.

If food is your thing then there is plenty to choose from. Just a 5 minute drive away is Rafferty’s – a fantastic restaurants offering a range of tempting tapas alongside a locally sourced menu, all within a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. If great pub grub is more your thing then Rick Steins’ Cornish Arms and the Farmers Arms are also close by.
Just down the road in Padstow is The Seafood Restaurant, Paul Ainsworth (No 6), Rick Stein’s Cafe and St Petroc’s Bistro. Or head south down the coast to Watergate Bay and enjoy a serious view with your meal at Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen Restaurant, or the highly-acclaimed Zacry’s.

Every guest staying with us has access to our very popular complimentary concierge services so that we can help you with local information or book things for you. The items below are just some of things that we can organise for your stay but please call our concierge team for more help and ideas!
We can offer a whole range of additional housekeeper services to suit your requirements. If you are looking for daily or regular housekeeping during your stay, or perhaps more frequent linen and towel changes, then this can normally be provided by our housekeeping partners.
There will be a local service charge to pay to the housekeeping company although our concierge team can organise this for you. n.b. Some housekeeping companies do not always work on Sundays and have a minimum service time.
Babysitting or childcare can be a very important part of a stay, particularly if you would like to go to a great fine dining restaurant or maybe spend a day doing activities that aren’t so child friendly.
We have access to a number of childcare professionals or local babysitters that live locally to all of our properties. n.b. Due to insurance reasons, we only pass on names and numbers and leave you to make the final decision on who to employ.
If you would like to do any cycling during your stay, we can organise bike hire for you. We can arrange to have a range of bikes and accessories delivered to the house, or if you want to just turn up somewhere and cycle, we can arrange for them to be dropped off and collected from any location in Cornwall.
If you would like to hire surf boards, stand-up paddle boards or kayaks during your stay, we can organise this for you. Surfing is the ultimate holiday sport and kayaking is a great way to explore the beautiful coastline or waterways near your holiday home.
We strongly recommend that you always obtain professional lessons before ever taking to the water, which we can also organise for you.
Whether its a private boat charter to enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the coastline, a day out at sea to catch some big fish for your tea, or a high speed ride on a rib searching for wildlife, we can arrange it for you!
Why not try a bread making class in the luxury of your Beach House. A chef tutor will visit the house with all the necessary ingredients and equipment, and teach you how to make delicious fresh bread or work with you on how to master a particular type of bread. The great thing about learning within one of our houses is that not only is there no travelling, its a much more personal experience. n.b. Prices start from £75 per person, minimum of two participants although one to one lessons can be agreed.
Chef Prepared Dinners is a very flexible bespoke food service. The way that it works is that you discuss what food you would like with one of our partner chefs, they prepare it and then deliver it to you on the agreed day, together with cooking instructions!
All you have to do is turn on the cooker for items that need cooking, follow a few simple instructions and then hey presto, a gourmet banquet is on the table! As well as gourmet food, you can also order simple homemade dishes as well.
Our concierge team can recommend the best restaurants in the area to help you get the most out of your stay and we’ll even take care of all of the reservations for you too.
Let us know where you would like to go and we can take all of the hassle out of organising your group and make those all important bookings on your behalf. We have great connections with all of the local restaurants so where possible we will make sure you get the best table and that all your needs are catered for.
If you are bringing the family dog away on holiday with you to one of our dog friendly properties and you want go somewhere for the day/evening that does not permit dogs, we can organise a dog sitter to look after your dog and keep it company while you are out!
In addition to sitting with them, they can sometimes also take them out for a few extra walks as well as make a fuss of them until your return. For more details, talk to our concierge team.
Learn to cook delicious fish and shellfish in the luxury and comfort of your Beach House. A chef tutor will visit the house bringing all the necessary ingredients and equipment to teach you everything you need to know about preparing and cooking fish and shellfish. If you’re already a keen cook of seafood at home, then why not work with the chef to master that particular dish you just can’t quite perfect.

Take part in guided foraging walks, cooking and dining courses and gourmet experiences, with wild food collected from the coastline around your Beach House.

To save valuable car space or the hassle of going shopping when you first arrive, we can arrange for groceries to be delivered and packed away at the house ready for your arrival*. There is normally a small local service charge for this service and is subject to availability so talk to us early if your stay falls within a busy period. This service normally works best when using a local grocery shop partner.

To save space in the car, allow us to stock the wine fridge up for your arrival. We work with a small number of local wine merchants who will deliver to your Beach House or work with our local services company to get the deliveries to you.
As well as being a space and time saving service, it can also give you greater access to locally made wines and spirits which you may not have come across before.
If you decide to fly or get the train to your holiday home destination we can help to organise car hire for your stay to help you explore the local area. We can also book taxis for transfers to and from the airport/train station, as well as booking taxis to get you to and from your dinner reservations or anywhere else you like.

Our concierge team can advise on where you can find all the best local watersport activities available such as stand up paddleboarding, jet skis, kayaking, coasteering, waterskiing, wakeboarding, ringos, sailing, powerboat courses and much more.
We can book lessons for you and liaise with individual watersport companies to help ensure the service is tailored to your ability and experience.
Delicious Wood Fired Pizzas take on average just 90 seconds to cook! Our partner chef will turn up to your Beach House (in rain or shine!) and set up the mobile wood fired pizza oven and gazebos. After around an hour, it’s ready to go and pizza all round.
This is a real fun and interactive food experience that can involve the whole family. You can prepare the dough, decorate it with you personal pizza topping and then cook it as well. The wood fired oven is very portable and can be placed in most locations.
